That Which Is Known As Death!

01 April 2020

Shubhrangshu Roy

Magnificent ocean of bottomless treasure
That vast expanse where worlds fall to rise
In ripples and waves across boundless space
As one with water, as heat to fire
In the flow of luminescence of the dark
Experienced in the idea of identity
Awakened in the breath of the icon That lives in the senses that heat to life
All that appears through the length of time
Before time was born for us to behold
What one sees here and now forever
In the naked truth of emptiness
That, in fullness, fills the void, pure
Of the heart in friendship with all
To lift the veil that clouds the mind.
I, then, am death, that ageless ocean
In which your worlds come together in refuge.
